This year the School of Economics at the University of Kent will be awarding a number of doctoral scholarships for outstanding PhD students.
The scholarship competition for entry in September 2020 is open to all new School of Economics postgraduate research applicants (current Kent research students are not eligible for these scholarships).
We accept candidates in any area of economics, but we encourage applicants to take a look at the School’s research specialisms in order to identify a potential area in which you are interested in working.
All scholarships are offered in the form of Graduate Teaching Assistantships, whereby PhD students receive financial support in return for a limited amount of teaching (up to six hours per week) across the Autumn and Spring terms.
