Two members of the Economics staff have been recognised in the annual Kent Union Teaching Awards. The awards were created, and are run by students to recognise and reward academics for their commitment to the delivery of excellent teaching.
Many congratulations to Professor Alan Carruth who was presented with the Social Sciences Faculty Award at a ceremony on 29 May 2014, and to Dr Mathan Satchi who was shortlisted for the ‘Best Supervision’ prize.
This year, Kent Union received more than 2,500 nominations for almost 500 individuals.
