The critically-acclaimed, double MOBO Award winning Saxophonist – and Kent alumna – will return to Canterbury for two exciting events at Gulbenkian on Saturday 9 March.
Beginning in the afternoon with a live stage performance of YolanDa’s Band Jam, the popular CBeebies children’s TV series dubbed ‘Jools Holland for kids’. The show encourages children to discover the joys of music through dancing, singing and playing. It recently won ‘Best Children’s Programme (Pre-school)’ at the Royal Television Society NW Awards and YolanDa was nominated for a BAFTA in the Best Presenter Category.
This will be followed by an evening performance where YolanDa can showcase her delicious fusion of reggae, jazz, and soul.
