Caring Through Singing Celebration

Raising vital funds for the Parkinson's Centre for Integrated Therapy

Join together with multiple singing groups on the 30th April in the Colyer-Fergusson for this uplifting celebration raising vital funds for the Parkinson’s Centre for Integrated Therapy

The University of Kent has the great pleasure of hosting a celebratory event at the Coyler-Fergusson which will mark the 10th anniversary of local charity Canterbury Cantata Trust. This is also an opportunity to introduce you to our exciting plans to establish the Parkinson’s Centre for Integrated Therapy The Centre will be the first of its kind in the UK, providing integrated, non-drug therapies to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of people living with Parkinson’s. This celebration, demonstrating the charity’s ‘Caring through Singing’ ethos, will involve participation by Skylarks, Amici Singers, Monday Music, Canterbury Singers and Herne Bay Junior School, and will further highlight the positive impact group singing has on people with Parkinson’s. We invite you to join us in what is set to be an uplifting afternoon of singing and raising funds for an excellent cause.
