The Careers and Employability Service are seeking mentors for a new mentoring programme, starting this September!
Kent Career Mentoring aims to connect Kent students with Kent alumni working in industry, to receive guidance, in order to support them in their future careers. The programme is open to students within the following schools: Politics and International Relations, Psychology and Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research.
We are currently seeking alumni to be mentors, who either studied at Kent in these subject areas, or who now work within related industries. We are particularly keen to hear from those working in Clinical or Forensic Psychology, Social Policy and Government.
We are looking for those who can support students during a 12 week period, meeting virtually with their mentee 6x (2x per month) over the course of the programme. For further details about how to become a mentor, please visit our Kent Career Mentoring webpage or email Liz Foden, Employability Adviser: e.r.foden@kent.ac.uk.
