Jaime Blakesley appointed as UKA Board President

We are delighted to welcome Jaime Blakesley as the new University of Kent in America Board President.

Jaime has served on the UKA board since 2016, previously serving as Vice President and Treasurer. Prior to joining the board, she was the Midwest chapter chair for several years and active in organizing alumni events in Illinois and Indiana.

With more than 20 years of experience as an environmental scientist in both the public and private sectors, she is currently employed with the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development as an environmental protection specialist.

In addition to being the UKA Board President she is also the Treasurer for the Plus One Adoption Foundation board and volunteers at Lake Katherine Nature Centre and Botanic Gardens. In her spare time Jaime and her husband Gareth (also a Kent DICE postgraduate alumnus) enjoy traveling, gardening, and the occasional pub quiz.

You can connect with Jaime on LinkedIn.
