Kent graduates to perform in comedy drama ‘Careless’

Emma Francois and Eva Tritschler

Kent graduates, Emma François and Eva Tritschler, who graduated in 2018 in Drama and Theatre are performing in comedy drama ‘Careless’ at the Vault Festival Fringe in London from 24-26 February.

Technical Manager of the production, Toby Smith, also graduated from the same course.

Careless follows best friends: Sam, a Care Assistant, and Bryony, a struggling Actor. Their working days couldn’t be more different. It’s Bryony’s 25th birthday. They are suddenly faced with truths neither of them can avoid. Careless examines the complexities of female friendship when worlds collide under the pressures of working in social care. Will their friendship survive the night?

Written Off Theatre was established in 2021 by Emma François and Eva Tritschler. Both whom were brought up by NHS workers, they believe in the value and importance of key workers, both creatives want to focus on representing key worker voices in their writing. After a sold out run at The Hope Theatre, an Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut followed. Careless is for those with a sense of compassion and of course humour.

Written Off Theatre would be delighted if current Kent students and alumni could be part of their audience, so if you would like to purchase a ticket you can do so here: https://vaultfestival.com/events/careless/
