Alumnus Jake Cunningham ,who studied Film with a Year in Industry at Kent from 2013-17 has had his first book published, entitled Ghibliotheque: The Unofficial Guide To The Movies Of Studio GhiblÂ
The book written by Jake and Michael Leader, began as a podcast exploring the films of Studio Ghibli, and then their publisher Welbeck got in touch in early 2020 about turning the podcast into a book. Then, lockdowns later… it came out in September 2021.
Ghibliotheque – which is the first English language to the complete films of Studio Ghibli, is already on its third print run and has been translated into Spanish, French and Italian, with more languages to come.
