This year we were delighted to host a cohort of the second 500 Kent students who graduated from Kent in 1969 – they spent the day meeting old friends and enjoying a Golden Graduation 50 years on.
The ceremony took place during the School of Psychology Degree Congregations and Awards Ceremony on Friday 19 July. You can view photos of the day on Flickr.
One golden graduate wrote: “Thank you for an excellent day which made me even more proud of my University.”
Another commented: “We were treated like royalty and it was a most memorable experience. I shall treasure the golden mortarboard.”
Golden Graduations in the Cathedral are open to all Kent alumni who want celebrate their time at Kent 50 years after their first adventure at the University. We’ll be telling you lots more about the 2020 Golden Graduations in a forthcoming edition of the e-newsletter.
