The call went out from the ever popular former director of Kent Sport Mike Wilkins. Saturday 7 July 2019 was the date. They duly came and a fantastic day was had by all!
The former players were put through their paces in a fun-filled festival of football. And you know what – despite the passing years. These guys have still got it!
Mike Wilkins MBE (Director of Sport from 1992-2007) joined Kent as a Sports Assistant in 1971. Mike coached the university football team for over 30 years winning 35 trophies – including 3 Universities and Colleges Sports Finals. An incredibly popular man among our sporting alumni – particularly the many who represented Kent at Football over the many years that Mike successfully coached the team.
