Dr Terence Nice, a lecturer in psychological therapies at the Centre for Professional Practice at Canterbury has built a strong relationship with the Kent Safeguarding Board (KBS). This partnership has seen the production of three self-harm pamphlets to assist with the growing issue of adolescent self-half in schools, at home and in the wider community. The development of these ties has led to the direct commissioning of a self-training programme by KSB, which in the New Year will become an integral part of their training and educational programmes to a raft of professional agencies.
