About the online exhibition – Student Life Under Covid-19
Museum Studies is a second-year module run by Professor Sophia Labadi in the Classical and Archaeological Studies department at the University of Kent. Part of this course is a compulsory internship students have to undertake in a museum. With the sanitary situation, it was decided that the internship component would be replaced with an online exhibition.
The theme of the exhibition is ‘Student Life under Covid-19’. Students had to select one of the proposed themes and reflect on their experiences, whilst at the same time engaging with wider issues and data. Presented as unique and sometimes cathartic testimonies, these entries are universally relatable experiences of studying under extreme circumstances, of struggling with mental health, of keeping friendships, growing old, staying young, and being human.
