The Centre for Higher and Degree Apprenticeships and The University of Kent were thrilled to find out that we placed at number 24 in the Rate My Apprenticeship Top 50 Training Providers 2019-2020.

This year, 2019, the Awards took place on the 18th July, where apprentices, schools/colleges, employers and training providers were awarded and celebrated.

The Training Provider Awards reward the best training providers for their delivery of qualifications to apprentices.

This table of training providers can also be found in Rate My Apprenticeship’s ‘Guide to Career Options 2020’, which is coming soon. This guide is a 100-page publication aimed to help young people take the first steps in their careers. The guide has advice sections, success stories and showcases the Top Employers based on the reviews to help better educate and inspire young people to think about their career nice and early! It will be distributed to all 6,030 schools & colleges across the UK and is also free to download from the Rate My Apprenticeship website.

The 2019 version of this guide, for example, contains advice on how to write CVs and cover letters, how to approach employers at career fairs, tips for different kind of interviews, and even examples of psychometric test questions.

Psychometric tests help to identify your skills, knowledge and personality. They’re often used during the preliminary screening stage, or as part of an assessment centre. They’re objective, convenient and strong indicators of job performance – making them very popular with large graduate recruiters.
