In July, thirteen members of the AHRC funded network will meet for the first time in person in Canterbury to discuss and debate some of the core questions of the project together. On the last day of this meeting, July 12, we open up to the general public who will have the opportunity to attend a free public event. This will be at the Gulbenkian Theatre, Canterbury.
The programme of this event is as follows:
10.30am Gaming and refreshments in the foyer
Audiences will be able to explore different kinds of music-based games on different consoles / platforms at a number of gaming stations with people at hand to offer instructions. Members of the network will mingle to ask and answer questions.
11.30am Presentations and Demonstrations
As a panel, the network members will introduce the network project in more detail and offer short “provocations” or demonstrations of different kinds of interactions, engagements, creative potential etc. of a range of games or their hardware.
12.30 Q&A session
This will be followed by a Question and Answer session where again interaction from the audience is particularly welcome.
1pm Finish
All welcome!
