This month’s Funny Rabbit, the comedy club created by Dr Olly Double, Reader in Drama in the School of Arts, will be held in the Gulbenkian café this Friday, 14 February 2020, aka Valentine’s Day!
Funny Rabbit is a monthly comedy club – radical and exciting, but also warm and snuggly as a bunny rabbit. The February line-up includes Raymond and Mr Timpkins and Josh Pugh.
Raymond and Mr Timkins are a comedy twosome with over two decades of mucking about behind them. They have toured everywhere from New Zealand to The Falklands and Exeter to Edinburgh – with many a stop in between.
Josh Pugh previously won English Comedian of the Year, and has been busy touring ever since. For a sample of his gigs, you can see his showreel here.
Performing in this month’s guest spot from Department of Drama and Theatre will be Taylor Sonko-Garvey, who’s in the second year studying on the BA (Hons) in Drama and Theatre. Taylor is is a poet, starting performing poetry in the module Popular Performance.
Tickets cost £5/7. To book, please see the page here: https://thegulbenkian.co.uk/events/funny-rabbit-comedy-club-raymond-and-mr-timpkins-josh-pugh
