Dr James Newton, Lecturer in theĀ Department of Media Studies in the School of Arts, has released the latest instalment of his podcast series, Newton Talks.
In the series, James discusses topics (mostly) related to cinema, television, and culture. His guests will be from the world of academia, as well as filmmakers and other artists, and each podcast will take the form of an unscripted discussion.
In the latest episode, James takes an in-depth look at Quentin Tarantino’s new movie Once Upon a Time in… Hollywood. He discusses his thoughts with guests Dr Chris Deacy, Reader in Theology and Religious Studies, and Dr Nigel Mather, an Honorary Researcher in the School of Arts, and talks about their reactions to the film.
