You are warmly invited to join us for the opening night of ‘Capturing Movement: Contemporary Art and Dance’.
The exhibition, which has been designed and organised by the MA Curators, explores how artists of today transform dance into creative and inspiring still representations and will include work from: Mary Fletcher, John Brown, Belinda Whiting, Rachelle Allen-Sherwood, Martha Todd, Helen Dryden, Margaret Ashman and Blek Le Rat.
This special private view will allow you the first glimpse our chosen exhibits and the different ways in which movement can be represented through art. You may also get the chance to speak to some of the featured artists about their work.
The event will be held on Wednesday September 20th from 5:30 – 8:00 pm in the Studio 3 Gallery, Jarman Building, School of Arts, University of Kent, Canterbury, CT2 7UG.
Refreshments and nibbles will be provided.
