Professor Christina Lodder will be spending the first two weeks of November as a Visiting Scholar at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, conducting research and close visual analysis on an important group of Russian and Eastern-European photographs from the early decades of the twentieth century, which belong to the Walther Collection. The project involves a group of prestigious scholars looking at different aspects of the collection, and is being conducted in collaboration with the Paul Mellon Foundation. The research will result in a major publication next year.
