The School of Arts is delighted to announce that we have received an Athena Swan Bronze Award.
The Athena Swan Charter is an Advance HE equality charter that encourages and recognises commitment to gender equality. The School of Arts has been awarded Bronze for progressing gender equality work within the School, in consultation with staff and students.
Dr Lavinia Brydon, Senior Lecturer in Film and Director of EDI for the School says: ‘The School’s Athena SWAN Bronze award is excellent news. It reflects the positive changes we have made in the School of Arts over the past few years, and our continued commitment to gender equality’.
