Frances Guerin publishes short story in The Blue Nib Literary Magazine

Dr Frances Guerin, Senior Lecturer in Film at the School of Arts and Kent’s Paris School of Arts and Culture, has had a short story published in The Blue Nib Literary Magazine.

Frances’ piece, entitled ‘Touching the Past’ is loosely based on the story of Frances’ friend’s grandfather who disappeared in Madrid at the end of World War II.

Frances says: ‘”Touching the Past” is motivated by the fact that, as individuals, we have such different experiences of our everyday encounters. And yet, across these differences, we find connections where we least expect them. Here, youth and age are brought together through the pain of loss’.
