Second-year students on the module Popular Performance will be performing two evenings of ‘Alternative Cabaret’, beginning this evening on Monday 9 December 2019 in the Gulbenkian Café.
The evening will consist of stand-up comedy, double acts, ranting/dub poetry, sketches and bizarre speciality acts in tribute to the alternative comedy scene of the 1980s. If you’re a fan of Rik Mayall, Benjamin Zephaniah or French & Saunders, this show is for you.
The cabaret is suitable for those aged 18+. It is free to attend, and will begin at 7.30pm.
