James Newton discusses superhero blockbusters

Dr James Newton, Lecturer in the Department of Media Studies, has just released a new entry in his  podcast series, Newton Talks.

In the series, James discusses topics (mostly) related to cinema, television, and culture. His guests will be from the world of academia, as well as filmmakers and other artists, and each podcast will take the form of an unscripted discussion.

In the latest instalment, James talks to Will Hill, a Lecturer in Media and Communications at Canterbury Christ Church University, who is currently completing an MA project on the comic book industry. Together, James and Will discuss superhero and comic book blockbusters, including Spiderman: Far From Home, Batman Vs Superman, MCU, X-Men, and DC.
