The National Archives has featured our podcast series, A History of Comedy in Several Objects, hosted by Dr Olly Double, Reader in Drama, in its summary of the highlights of 2018.

The National Archives is the official archive and publisher for the UK government and for England and Wales. It is the guardian of some of our most iconic national documents, dating back over 1,000 years. It has highlighted the key archive research activities in the UK this year to raise awareness on the value of archive research, naming A History of Comedy as an example.

The podcast series examines objects from Kent’s British Stand-Up Comedy Archive and is co-hosted by Project Archivist Elspeth Millar.
