The School of Arts have been working closely with Tunbridge Wells Museum and Art Gallery to develop internship opportunities with their historic costume collection.
This year we had two History of Art MA students on these internships. Mirra and Gloria worked on the Costume Photography Project and digitised many pieces in the collection.
Elizabeth Douglas, the Collections’ Development Manager commented ‘Mirra & Gloria were superb and achieved a great deal during their time here.’
Following this success, we will be working with the museum again next year to recruit two more students onto their costume internships.
