School of Arts Students at the Kent Student Awards

Congratulations to Arts students Sarue Jokonya (Film), Tabitha Porter (Drama) and Hannah Trott (Drama) who all were finalists for the Kent Student Awards this year.

In the category of Outstanding Contribution to Arts and Culture, Sarue Jakonya was awarded second place for founding the Canterbury University Film Festival (CUFF) which has added to Kent’s film culture and overall student experience.

In the category of Outstanding Contribution to Arts and Culture, Tabitha Porter was awarded third place for her excellent work as President of the T24 Drama Society and her dedication to promoting thought-provoking theatre.

In the category of Outstanding Fundraiser of the Year, Hannah Trott was awarded third place for her amazing contribution to fundraising activities that take place within Kent RaG and for her own individual fundraising efforts.

We are incredibly proud that our students are contributing so much to university life and promoting the arts on campus and in Canterbury. Well done to all nominees!
