The University of Kent appeared 30th out of 123 institutions in the latest Sunday Times league table. This is the first time we have achieved a top 30 position and our progress up the table was specifically noted in the Good University Guide Supplement:
“The university has been moving up our league table, rising another 3 places this year, fuelled by increasing levels of student satisfaction, good graduate job prospects and an improving completion rate.”
We are now ranked higher than Liverpool, Royal Holloway and Queen Mary College who are all Russell Group Universities and little separates us from two more with King’s College achieving just a further point and Manchester two points.
84% of our subjects are listed in the subject tables within the top 30.
The School of Arts subjects did incredibly well in the subject tables with Drama and Film coming 9th and History of Art 11th.
Congratulations and thank you to all of you that help to make Kent and The School of Arts a brilliant place to study and work!
