Along with the School’s option to study in Paris for a term, the department will now be offering an MA History and Philosophy of Art (with a term in Rome) which will offer students the chance to study first in Canterbury, and then in the spring term at The American University of Rome (AUR). While in Rome students will take a range of Kent and AUR modules, each designed to benefit from being taught in the city and drawing on Professor Tom Henry’s expertise in Italian Renaissance art. Students will be offered AUR accommodation.
The University of Kent at Rome is pleased to offer one Faculty of Humanities Scholarship, consisting of a fee waiver (worth £5,590) and a full maintenance stipend (£13,590), valid for either of the following taught Master’s programmes:
- MA in Ancient History with a Term in Rome
