So, you pre-registered for accommodation for next year. What happens now?

Pre-registration: done and dusted

I’m sure by now you’re fed up with us going on about pre-registering your interest in returning student accommodation for September 2026. Well, you may be pleased to hear that registration is now closed – so that’s one less thing for us to shout about.

However, pre-registering your interest doesn’t mean you’ve officially applied for accommodation. No, no, no! Rest assured, you’ll be hearing from us again very soon with more information on what to do when our application pages go live towards the end of January.

Pre-registered? Gold star ⭐

If you did the sensible thing and pre-registered your interest, you’ll receive an email from us next week (13/01/26)  with everything you need to know about applying – including details of your 24-hour early access to our accommodation application page. Yes, that’s right – a whole day before everyone else. Now who feels smart?

Applying early means you’ll beat the rush and give yourself a better chance of securing one of our 1,800 guaranteed rooms for returning students.

Didn’t pre-register? Don’t panic – deep breaths

If you’re now kicking yourself because you didn’t pre-register, don’t worry. You’ll still be able to apply, just a day later, which means you’ll need to be quick before our returner-allocated rooms are snapped up. With only 1,800 rooms set aside for returning students, there’s no time to waste!

And because we like you, we’ll still be emailing you next week with further information on how to apply.

So what now?

That’s it for now – keep an eye on your inbox for the next update!
