On Sunday 3 September, the class of 1966 visited campus to mark 50 years since they started at Kent. The reunion was organised by Sue Crump (Keynes 1966, French) and took place exactly a year since our fantastic 50th Festival in September 2015!
The University’s 50th anniversary marked the first in a series of college anniversaries – starting with Eliot College in 2015 – and the next milestone will be the 50th anniversary of Rutherford College. This will be marked by a series of events in the College over the 2016-17 academic year, beginning with the Rutherford 50th Anniversary Lecture and dinner on 14 October to mark the arrival of the first students in October 1966, and culminating in a Reunion Weekend on 29-30 July 2017.
