The turning circle is very tight, so our &#8216;spin round&#8217; campus was very exciting!<\/p>\n<p>The pedal power was provided by Peter Frost, Mark Fendley, Alex Andrews, Bonnie Ferguson and Dr. Bike himself.<\/p>\n<p>The monster bike was provided by <a title=\"Monster bike events\" href=\"http:\/\/www.monsterbikeevents.co.uk\/\">Dr. Bike<\/a>, as part of a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/campusonline\/campusnews.html?id=drbike.txt\">scheme to encourage cycling at the University of Kent<\/a>. They provide free bicycle checks and bike services for all students and staff to ensure they are in good working order.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/webdev\/files\/2012\/06\/dr-bike-22-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"seven seater bike ride\" width=\"270\" height=\"203\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The <a title=\"The University of Kent encourage cycling\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/estates\/transport\/cycling\/\">University also encourage cycling<\/a> in a number of ways as part of its Travel plan.
