{"id":135,"date":"2011-10-02T07:51:21","date_gmt":"2011-10-02T06:51:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/webdev\/?p=135"},"modified":"2011-10-02T07:51:21","modified_gmt":"2011-10-02T06:51:21","slug":"week-1-portal-stats","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/webdev\/2011\/10\/02\/week-1-portal-stats\/","title":{"rendered":"Week 1 portal stats"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following on from <a title=\"Start of term portal stats\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/webdev\/2011\/09\/25\/start-of-term-portal-stats\/\">last weeks post<\/a> about the amount of traffic we see on the <a title=\"Student Portal\" href=\"https:\/\/portal.kent.ac.uk\">Student Portal<\/a>, I thought I&#8217;d provide some stats on the first week\u00a0as well.<\/p>\n<p>The figures below are for 25th September to 1st October 2011.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Total number of visits:<\/strong>\u00a0126,733 (+43,299)<br \/>\n<strong>Busiest day:<\/strong>\u00a0Monday 26th \u2013 27,025 visits<br \/>\n<strong>Unique visitors:<\/strong>\u00a036,453 (+6,215)<br \/>\n<strong>Average time on the portal:<\/strong>\u00a04 mins 45 secs<br \/>\n<strong>Visits on a mobile device:<\/strong>\u00a09% (+3%)<br \/>\n<strong>Desktop browser of choice:<\/strong>\u00a0IE 33%, Chrome: 29%, \u00a0Firefox 17%<br \/>\n<strong>Most popular pages (unique views):<\/strong>\u00a0front page 277,137 (-2,042), moodle page 20,515 (+8,474), modules page 10,254 (-4,127)<\/p>\n<p>So to sum it up, more people are using their mobile to access the site, presumably enroute to their lectures.
