Following on from last weeks post about the amount of traffic we see on the Student Portal, I thought I’d provide some stats on the first week as well.
The figures below are for 25th September to 1st October 2011.
Total number of visits: 126,733 (+43,299)
Busiest day: Monday 26th – 27,025 visits
Unique visitors: 36,453 (+6,215)
Average time on the portal: 4 mins 45 secs
Visits on a mobile device: 9% (+3%)
Desktop browser of choice: IE 33%, Chrome: 29%, Firefox 17%
Most popular pages (unique views): front page 277,137 (-2,042), moodle page 20,515 (+8,474), modules page 10,254 (-4,127)
So to sum it up, more people are using their mobile to access the site, presumably enroute to their lectures. Also, the Moodle page has become more popular.
