We’ve been consolidating our different page layouts in Site Editor.
For most content, there are now three main layout options when you add a new page:
- the Feature page (new blocks) layout,
- the Text page layout,
- or the MyKent Information page layout.
Feature page layout
There are two Feature page versions, old blocks and new blocks.
We’re phasing out the old blocks version. New sites won’t include this layout anymore.
New blocks will only be added to the new feature page layout.
We encourage editors to transition to the new blocks layout, designed for the ‘ambition’ brand, which offers better design, usability, and accessibility.
Text page layout
The Text page layout is ideal for editorial or longer-form content.
MyKent information page layout
If your site uses ‘Marketing v2 site’ it will also include a My Kent information page layout.
This is a content page designed for use on My Kent sites and very similar to the Text page layout.
It replaces the old guides pages and allows grouping of pages as guides did.
