{"id":312,"date":"2016-01-18T11:25:15","date_gmt":"2016-01-18T11:25:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/unseenit\/?p=312"},"modified":"2016-01-18T11:25:15","modified_gmt":"2016-01-18T11:25:15","slug":"openssh-clients","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/unseenit\/openssh-clients\/","title":{"rendered":"OpenSSH clients"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Qualys have recently released a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qualys.com\/2016\/01\/14\/cve-2016-0777-cve-2016-0778\/openssh-cve-2016-0777-cve-2016-0778.txt\" target=\"_blank\">security advisory<\/a> for those using OpenSSH clients.\u00a0 In essence using a vulnerable OpenSSH client can expose your private key to a malicious host.<\/p>\n<p>The client has already been patched on most linux \/ unix based operating systems and administrators of such systems should ensure that they have applied the necessary patches.<\/p>\n<p>So far Apple have not made any mention of this vulnerability in OS X.
