The ECSS established the Young Investigators Award for this purpose.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan\u2019s presentation titled, <em>Experimental muscle pain reduces endurance and maximal strength via centrally mediated mechanisms, <\/em>forms part of a series of studies in his PhD which explores how exercise-induced pain may contribute to neuromuscular fatigue.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PhD student Ryan Norbury won 5th best Oral Presentation in the prestigious Young Investigators Award at the European College of Sports Sciences annual congress.
