Members of SSES presented at an evening of Neurological Themed Lectures hosted by the University of Kent.
The University of Kent hosted an evening of Neurological Themed Lectures organised by the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology (ACPIN) and held in conjunction with Medway Neurological Network.
SSES Lecturer, Dr Kyra De Coninck, and PhD Student Anna Ferrusola-Pastrana, gave presentations about their areas of expertise. Kyra then described in depth the characteristics of fascia and explained the important role that fascia might have in rehabilitation, movement, pain and ageing.
Members of Medway Community Health Care and Parkinson’s UK also presented alongside our SSES members of staff. The event received great feedback and useful take home messages important for research and also health care professionals.
