Some students from the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences have started an academic society for the school’s students who want to get the most out of their degree subject and make some new friends along the way.
The society will launch their first event on December 7th at the Deep End on the Medway campus. The quiz will consist have a mixture of rounds, with a focus on Sport. Members can get involved for just a £1 which includes entry to the quiz and snacks for each team plus some great prizes including Amazon Vouchers if you win.
Currently, all SSES students have been given automatic free membership to the society so all students can get involved. The Chairman of the Society, Ian Farr hopes to give its members some exciting benefits and a range of events to get involved with including guest speakers, formal dinners, access to professional course and trips away.
If you are interested in getting involved with the society, or have some ideas on the events you want to be planed you should attend the next committee meeting which is on 7th December in M0-02. All students are welcome.
