Recently, the catering team came together for a coffee training session with new supplier,<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.garageroasted.co.uk\/\">Garage Coffee<\/a><\/strong>, to sharpen their skills and learn some new tricks.<\/p>\n<h2>What They Learned<\/h2>\n<p>Baristas from Dolche Vita, Sibson Caf\u00e9, and the Gulbenkian Caf\u00e9 spent the day with the coffee pros from Garage Coffee.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s what they learnt:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Nailing the Basics<\/strong>: From getting the grind just right to brewing the perfect cup, the team now knows how to make the coffee taste even better.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tasting the \u201cAmbition\u201d Blend<\/strong>: They sampled the new and exclusive \u201cAmbition\u201d blend, which has notes of chocolate, vanilla, and pecan. It\u2019s set to be a hit with customers!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Getting the Grind Right<\/strong>: The baristas learned how to adjust grinders to ensure every cup is spot-on, no matter how it\u2019s brewed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Perfecting Espresso<\/strong>: Espresso is at the core of many drinks, and the team practiced pulling perfect shots and making espresso-based favourites like lattes and cappuccinos.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Steaming Milk Like Pros<\/strong>: They focused on steaming milk to create smooth microfoam, perfect for that silky latte texture.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Latte Art Fun<\/strong>: Latte art is a favourite, and the team learned some cool techniques to make drinks look as good as they taste.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Brewing Up Something Special<\/h2>\n<p>The collaboration with Garage Coffee represents a commitment to continuously improving the coffee experience on campus. This training session is just the beginning.
