Opportunities available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The School of Computing has several opportunities open to people looking for a change of direction in their work or studies in the New Year.<\/p>\n<p>There are currently two roles available on the Canterbury campus. A <a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.kent.ac.uk\/fe\/tpl_kent01.asp?s=4A515F4E5A565B1A&amp;jobid=39442,2387656948&amp;key=46054418&amp;c=352572540256&amp;pagestamp=seyhtnhvrafbmxaklc\">Lecturer in Computing<\/a> (applications close\u00a025 February) and an <a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.kent.ac.uk\/fe\/tpl_kent01.asp?s=4A515F4E5A565B1A&amp;jobid=39795,3478231282&amp;key=46073461&amp;c=876976870298&amp;pagestamp=dbmnkmtotewdojtkds\">Examinations &amp; Postgraduate Assistant<\/a>\u00a0(applications close on Sunday 24\u00a0January).<\/p>\n<p>Graduates\u00a0who are looking to change careers and move into a\u00a0technology-based role can apply for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/courses\/postgraduate\/243\/computer-science\">Computer Science Conversion MSc<\/a> which is open to graduates of any subject, making ideal for those who want to complement the knowledge and skills learned on their undergraduate degree or change career entirely.<\/p>\n<p>There are also several <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cs.kent.ac.uk\/research\/studyingforaphd\/index.html\">funded PhD opportunities<\/a> available including &#8216;Incorporating self-evaluation into computational creativity systems&#8217; and &#8216;Understanding victims of cyber-enabled crimes&#8217;.
