I chose to do the MSc in Cyber Security of the University of Kent because of its certification by the NCSC and its good reputation in France and more especially in Epitech.

How will this help your career?

Thanks to the new skills I learned during this year, combined with the skills I acquired at Epitech, I will be able to apply as a developer specialised in cyber security, and implement what I like the most: cyber security tools and protocols.

You’ve lived here for a while, what has been your favourite thing about being at Kent and in Canterbury?

Canterbury is a beautiful city, and I particularly liked the cathedral: its architecture, history, and links with France. I spent all my time, including breaks, living on the campus to fully enjoy it and walk around.

What advice would you give to someone thinking about a Cyber Security degree?

Since English is not my first language, I would highly suggest student who don’t have English as their first language to work on their English to make sure to understand everything during the classes.

The quality of the teaching support (Moodle) is also to be underlined.
