The total value of the three projects for the Division is over \u00a3500,000 from Innovate UK.<\/p>\n<p>A KTP enables a business to bring in new skills and the latest academic thinking to deliver a specific, strategic innovation project through a knowledge-based partnership.<\/p>\n<p>The KTPs are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/engineering\/people\/826\/horne-robert\">Dr Robert Horne<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/engineering\/people\/886\/makarovaite-viktorija\">Dr Viktorija Makarovaite<\/a>, at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/engineering\">School of Engineering<\/a>, will work with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smith-nephew.com\/uk\/\">Smith and Nephew<\/a>, a leading portfolio medical technology company.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/computing\/people\/3068\/soria-daniel\">Dr Daniel Soria<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/computing\/people\/3081\/otero-fernando\">Dr Fernando Otero<\/a>, of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/computing\">School of Computing<\/a>, will work with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hurleygroup.co.uk\/\">The Hurley Group<\/a>, an NHS Partnership providing patient-centered care in London.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/computing\/people\/671\/efstratiou-christos\">Dr Christos Efstratiou<\/a> and Dr Fernando Otero, of the School of Computing, along with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/architecture-planning\/people\/1086\/nikolopoulou-marialena\">Professor Marialena Nikolopoulou<\/a> (Division of Arts and Humanities) will work with Baxall Construction, a contractor delivering new build, refurbishment, project management and design and build solutions.
