There are lots of events for School of Computing students to improve employability prospects:<\/p>\n<p><b>Placement\u00a0<\/b><b>Poster Fair<\/b>\u00a0(all week in SW101):\u00a0Come and see what last year&#8217;s placement students got up to on their Year in Industy.\u00a0 Some\u00a0finalists will be available to talk through their posters on Monday and Thursday lunchtimes (midday onwards). The posters will be up all week.<\/p>\n<p><b><\/b><b>CV workshop<\/b>\u00a0(Monday\u00a04th\u00a010am,\u00a0SW101): What makes an employer-friendly CV? Feel free to bring along your CVs for\u00a0feedback.<\/p>\n<p><b><\/b><b>&#8216;What employers look for&#8217;<\/b>\u00a0(Monday\u00a04th\u00a02pm, SW101):\u00a0CEO\u00a0of Kinetic Solutions (placement and graduate recruiter)\u00a0will\u00a0let you\u00a0in on what he looks for when recruiting.\u00a0\u00a0Particularly valuable for ALL years!<\/p>\n<p><b>Annual Careers\u00a0<\/b><b>Fair<\/b>\u00a0 (Tuesday 5th 12noon-5pm in the Sports Hall) with over 80 employers, including: Accenture, BAE Systems, Cisco, Fujitsu, GForces,\u00a0IBM, Morgan Stanley, Philips, PWC, Ratemyplacement, Scivisum, Sky and Thales and many, many more.<\/p>\n<p><b>University Careers Service\/ Employability Points<\/b>\u00a0talk (Wednesday 6<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a011am, SW101) With Bruce Woodcock from the\u00a0Careers and Employability Service and Tom Richie,\u00a0Student Enterprise Ambassador.
