If you\u00a0are missing your pets, or would like to spend some time in the company of a friendly\u00a0dog, then come and\u00a0meet Monty.<\/p>\n
On Friday 25 May, staff and students from the School of Computing have the opportunity to relax with a canine companion. Monty the cockapoo will be available for cuddles from 10.00-12.00 on the veranda of The Shed in Cornwallis.<\/p>\n
Orla Garratt, Marketing and Communications Manager for the school said; ‘This is the second time that Monty has visited the School after he enjoyed the attention on his first visit during wellbeing week<\/a> in March. Lots of students who have pets at their family home enjoyed spending time with him as they were missing their own animals.’<\/p>\n Other tools are available to help students through the stresses of the exam period such as the wellbeing app<\/a>\u00a0and the Big White Wall<\/a>\u00a0confidential support website.<\/p>\n Students can also contact the University’s wellbeing team<\/a>\u00a0and Kent Union\u00a0<\/a>for further advice.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
