See first-hand how research at the University of Kent can benefit your business at the Kent Technology Fair on Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 June 2022.
This 2-day event aims to expose you to what researchers at Kent can do for you, and provide an excellent environment to network with other businesses, allowing you to develop what could become your next big idea.
The event will showcase the latest research being carried out at the University of Kent in the fields of Computing, Engineering and Mathematical Sciences. Our research is themed around 3 areas: Healthcare Technologies, Security and Environmental Sustainability.
You will have the chance to learn about our latest advancements in these and other fields in a variety of formats, from lectures and talks, to wandering through the exhibitor’s fair or just striking up a conversation with one of our renowned academic experts.
You can also network with other businesses, participate in workshops, take a walking tour of the beautiful town of Canterbury and join us for dinner at Canterbury Cathedral Lodge.
Professor Gareth Howells, Director of Research and Innovation in the Division of Computing, Engineering and Mathematical Sciences said: ‘We are delighted to be hosting this event as a launch for the new ‘Innovation Hub’. This event will expose commercial enterprises to the great work we carry out at Kent and act as a catalyst for new collaborations to arise, furthering our impact and improving our standing as a place where new knowledge is created and applied’.
