What made you decide to study your course at University of Kent?
I chose to study Computer Science at Kent as the Year in Industry program really stood out to me, few universities that I had looked at provided this opportunity.
What has been your favourite module so far, and why?
My favourite module so far has been the Introduction to Cyber Security module as it covers different ciphers and cryptanalysis methods, as well as a code-breaking assignment which I really enjoyed.
Would you recommend new students join a society?
I would recommend joining a society to new students. There are so many societies to choose from and they are a great way to meet new people.
What’s your favourite thing about living in Canterbury?
My favourite thing about living in Canterbury is the city centre, it has many quaint places to eat, drink and shop, and is full of historic buildings which I think makes it a unique place to live
What would you recommend to a new first year student studying your course?
Join societies and try and meet as many people on your course as you can. Group chats are a good way to meet people before moving to university or to attend the freshers week events like your schools meet and greet sessions.
