Prospective students can find out more about the University’s £8.5m postgraduate scholarship fund, at a postgraduate Open Evening.
The University of Kent has a range of scholarships available for students on its Master’s and PhD programmes. There are different awards available for students of various nationalities and for Kent alumni.
The Postgraduate Open Evening runs from 5pm-7pm on Wednesday 27 Novemeber. Anyone interested in gaining a postgraduate degree to launch or further their career in computing is welcome to attend.
The Canterbury campus event will cover the School of Computing’s extensive range of full- and part-time programmes including the Conversion Master’s which requires a good degree in any subject but no prior knowledge of computing, and is ideal for those looking for a career change.
Dr David Barnes, taught postgraduate admissions officer for the School of Computing said: “All our taught Master’s programmes are available with an optional industrial placement. Graduating with a well respected Master’s and practical experience on your CV can really give you the edge over other candidates in the competitive computer science industry.”
If you want to know more come to the Open Evening on Wednesday 27 November, 5-7pm or view the postgraduate prospectus.
