School of Computing rises in the league tables

The School of Computing continues its upward trend in the league tables. It has been ranked 25th out of 105 UK CS departments in the Complete University Guide 2014 – a rise of eight places from last year.

The University of Kent has been ranked 28th out of 124 UK institutions – up five places from last year.

This rise, combined with the University’s third place for overall satisfaction in the most recent National Student Survey (2012) and other recent league table achievements, including a ranking of 22nd in the 2013 Guardian University Guide and 28th in the Sunday Times League Table 2013, confirms Kent’s position in the top tier of UK universities.

Launched in 2007, the Complete University Guide offers comparisons between UK universities on a wide range of criteria including strength of research, student satisfaction, entry standards, staff/student ratio, spending on academic services, campus facilities, completion rates, good honours and graduate prospects.
