The UCU General Secretary, Jo Grady is coming to Kent, to our Canterbury campus, to visit us on Wednesday 25th February.<\/p>\n

We’re going to be meeting her as a whole branch in Grimond LT1 from 3pm, with a drinks and nibbles reception in Grimond foyer from 4.30pm. It will be possible to join the event online, but we encourage members to attend in person if at all possible.<\/p>\n

For those of you who are not perhaps very familiar with Jo Grady, here’s a clip from last year’s BBC Question Time.<\/a><\/p>\n

Do join us on the 25th, either in person or online. This will give our branch a chance to tell the national UCU about our experiences here at Kent as we become the UK’s first ‘Super University’.<\/p>\n
