Calendar of main events and phases of the TruLife Network

TruLife has embarked on a programme of three international and interdisciplinary research workshops, which take place in quick succession and are attended by selected invitees to encourage focus and team building.

Workshop 1: Waste Management and Decay

5th – 7th of September 2016, hosted by University of Kent (UK)

Workshop 2: Spatial Practice

30th of November – 2nd of December 2016, hosted by Leiden University (NL)

Workshop 3: Food Security

1st – 3rd of March 2017, hosted by University of Gothenburg (SE)

Urban Design Ideas Competition and Exhibition

Following these workshops the network will concentrate on academic and public engagement outputs. The latter is headed by an Urban Design Ideas Competition which will focus on a brief determined by challenges and opportunities identified in the research workshops. The exhibition will showcase shortlisted contributions and is expected to be realised in contribution with the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts at the University of East Anglia in Norwich towards the end of the TruLife Network in 2018.
