Caroline is a qualified nurse with 29 years\u2019 experience of clinical work, including 21 years as a Bladder and Bowel Specialist Nurse. She is currently an Operational Manager for four specialist nursing services in the community, having supported the implementation of a new electronic patient record in 2020.<\/p>\n
Graduated with her BSc in 2001, Caroline also completed Non-medical prescribing in 2009 and a CMI Leadership Qualification in 2017. She is also a Queen’s Nurse and has been a Nurse Ambassador. In her spare time, she sings in a choir, enjoys running and Pilates, and has a one-eyed rescue dog called Cookie.<\/p>\n
Achievements<\/strong><\/p>\n What attracted you to the MBA programme at Kent Business School and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n To develop my strategic skills. Having moved into an operational role after the majority of my career in clinical practice, I had limited experience of making changes with strategic\/long-term consequences. I believe this course will support me with managing teams and making changes that will improve the delivery of patient care. I have wanted to study at master’s level for many years but put this on hold while my children were young.<\/p>\n Aspiration<\/strong><\/p>\n For promotion within KCHFT, or to work in the NHS with a national focus steering the delivery of patient care, with either procurement, sustainability or digital technology focus.<\/p>\n Advice<\/strong><\/p>\n Do not let mistakes hold you back.
